Responsibilities
- Ship software by planning, writing, sharing context, and coaching a fleet of coding agents.
- Build and improve the software-development factory by updating system prompts, creating automated verification loops, and writing codebase- and domain-specific agent skills.
- Stay current on emerging development technologies and serve as Gravity’s radar for useful tools and practices.
- Develop expertise in agentic harnesses, evaluations, and best practices to improve the Gravity Agent for customers.
- Contribute to a senior, full-stack team building carbon accounting and energy-management software.
Requirements
- Experience with some or all of Golang, Postgres, React/TypeScript, Docker, AWS, and Terraform is preferred.
- Strong accountability, clear communication, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and comfort with rapid context switching are required.
- Candidates should be natural system builders who care deeply about software quality, craft, ownership, and reducing technical debt.
- Carbon accounting knowledge is not required.
- Candidates must be able to work with Gravity's San Francisco-based team; the company cannot sponsor new visas but supports transfers.
- The hiring process includes an introductory technical discussion, a recorded two-hour take-home coding exercise, and an on-site live-coding and behavioral interview.
