Responsibilities

Maintain the smooth operation of production systems used by millions of users.
Build and maintain engineering tools, including process and work-tracking systems.
Develop and operate CI/CD infrastructure and release automation.
Maintain testing infrastructure across multiple environments and stages.
Investigate and resolve scalability bottlenecks and production incidents.
Develop foundational engineering infrastructure for company-wide use.
Communicate with peers, QA Engineers, and developers about system needs, applications, and evolution.
Share knowledge and provide mentorship and support.

Have computer science fundamentals based on a computer science degree or distinctive work experience in software development.
Have experience with Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP in a cloud environment.
Demonstrate strong shell scripting skills in a Linux environment.
Have development experience in at least one of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C, or C++.
Be able to develop foundational engineering infrastructure used across the company.
Demonstrate the ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and support.
Have strong attention to detail, quality focus, and communication skills.

Remote-first work arrangement with flexibility to work from where most productive.
Ability to work anywhere in the world for up to three months.
