Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and delivers secure, scalable software solutions.
- Writes and reviews production code and resolves technical problems across multiple technology areas.
- Leads responsible adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting practices.
- Establishes validation standards for AI outputs, including correctness, performance, security, peer review, and automated testing.
- Identifies and automates recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Leads evaluations of external vendors, startups, and internal teams’ architectural designs and technical capabilities.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant AI-assisted delivery practices.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
