Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of backend functionality using APL and C#/.NET.
- Drive technical discussions, architectural decisions, and solutions aligned with long-term business goals.
- Build scalable, secure, high-performance, reliable, and maintainable backend systems.
- Contribute to code quality, performance optimization, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and agile practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver client-relevant functionality.
- Investigate technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs and develop sustainable solutions.
- Share knowledge and participate in technical discussions across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET technologies.
- Expert knowledge of C#, .NET Core or .NET Framework, and backend development.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, clean code, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.
- Ability to work with complex business logic and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Interest in learning APL; prior APL experience is not required.
- Azure or cloud-based development experience is advantageous but not required.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry is a plus.
- Exposure to functional, array-oriented, or vector-based programming languages is a plus.
- Experience mentoring engineers or owning a component is a plus.
