Responsibilities
- Design SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 architectures for enterprise document management implementations at scale.
- Define information architecture, taxonomy, content types, metadata, document lifecycle, versioning, retention, governance, provisioning, security, and content standards.
- Develop document, list, metadata, and permission integrations using Microsoft Graph API.
- Build SPFx web parts and extensions with React, including Microsoft Teams-embedded solutions.
- Develop secure API layers using Azure Functions, App Services, Azure API Management, and REST APIs.
- Use Azure Cosmos DB for business metadata persistence and synchronization with SharePoint.
- Use Azure Blob Storage for archival, lifecycle management, and storage tiering.
- Integrate SharePoint with Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
- Optimize performance for large SharePoint repositories and Graph API integrations.
- Lead solution design, mentor technical teams, conduct architecture reviews, and translate business requirements into enterprise solutions.
Requirements
- 12-18 years of experience, including at least 12 years with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Demonstrated enterprise document management system implementations at scale.
- Deep expertise in SharePoint architecture, information architecture, taxonomy, content types, and metadata management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API, SPFx development with React, Azure integration services, and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, managed identities, and SharePoint security models.
- Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
- Experience defining governance, security, provisioning, and content standards and optimizing large repositories.
- Preferred experience with SharePoint Premium/Syntex, Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, ShareGate, AvePoint, SharePoint Migration Tool, Power Platform, search architecture, and legacy ECM migrations.
- Relevant preferred certifications include MS-700, SC-400, AZ-204, and AZ-305.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and experience translating business requirements into enterprise solutions.
