Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad or companywide impact.
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core and React.js.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Develop backend and frontend unit tests using xUnit and Jest.
- Implement automated testing and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, including query tuning, indexing, transactions, and performance optimization.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Manage and monitor batch workflows using AutoSys.
- Apply GenAI and agentic frameworks to intelligent automation and productivity.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and cross-team collaboration.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for complex technology solutions.
- Lead projects or teams and serve as a peer mentor.
- Review large-scale technology solutions and resolve complex technical issues with technical experts and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
- Experience with C#, .NET Core, React.js, JavaScript ES6+, HTML, and CSS.
- Expert-level SQL Server experience, including T-SQL, performance tuning, indexing, and transactions.
- Experience with xUnit and Jest for unit testing.
- Experience with automation testing and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Power BI reporting and analytics.
- Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and OWASP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take ownership and work effectively in Agile teams.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives, influence technical teams, and establish engineering best practices.
