Responsibilities
- Solve difficult technical challenges spanning multiple teams and reduce technical volatility and ambiguity.
- Own high-level design for multi-service capabilities with embedded security and scalability.
- Lead architecture and execution strategy for large strategic initiatives across engineering teams.
- Write complex core components and skeletal systems for other teams to build upon.
- Approve critical-path design reviews and major technical initiatives.
- Provide evidence-based endorsements for Senior Engineer promotions.
- Lead adoption of agentic tooling, LLM workflows, and AI automation within the team.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering complex software systems.
- Deep expertise in one area with broad competence across the full stack.
- Ability to influence decisions across teams without formal authority.
- Strong focus on engineering craft and proactive reduction of cultural and technical debt.
