Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered tools for application development.
- Architect and build web technology stacks covering authentication, event tracking, application platforms, and design systems.
- Drive architecture and engineering standards at team and division level.
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product, ML, and engineering teams to improve developer experience and expand customer adoption.
- Integrate AI-powered tools and automation into engineering workflows and decision-making.
- Own projects and solutions with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining engineering quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, high-quality applications.
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Lit.
- Hands-on daily development experience with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude.
- Strong knowledge of UI design principles, usability, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with REST, JSON, AJAX, relational databases, event-driven and stateless architectures, functional programming, and abstract data types.
- Demonstrated experience driving architecture and engineering standards at team or division level.
- Strong critical thinking, product sense, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Backend development experience with Java is an added advantage.
- ServiceNow platform certification or development experience is a strong added advantage.
