Responsibilities
- Lead the development team and drive technical implementation.
- Develop enterprise web applications using Spring Boot and Thymeleaf.
- Design and implement batch jobs using Spring Batch.
- Build integrations with MQ systems, HULFT, email services, and Azure services.
- Implement REST APIs and asynchronous processing patterns.
- Review code and enforce engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams on deployment and operational readiness.
- Optimize application performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical reviews.
- Support production issue analysis and resolution.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring MVC, Thymeleaf, Spring Batch, Spring Data JPA, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, and SMTP/JavaMailSender.
- Experience with Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ is good to have.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, batch orchestration, retry and skip mechanisms, transaction management, and error handling and management.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Application Insights and Actuator.
- Preferred experience with Azure Spring Apps or Azure App Services.
- Preferred exposure to cloud-native architecture, observability, and Agile/Scrum.
