Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Software Requirement Specifications and other software quality documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
- Assess software designs, test data, and performance data for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve software quality deficiencies.
- Guide validation of usability, reliability, performance, localizability, safety, privacy, and cost requirements.
- Oversee software quality plans and risk management activities across the software lifecycle.
- Use post-market analytics and statistics to monitor field performance and initiate corrective or field actions when needed.
- Develop software quality plans covering design through post-market activities.
- Apply global regulations, requirements, standards, and QMS processes to software quality activities.
- Provide guidance, technical problem resolution, and mentoring on quality engineering and regulatory compliance.
- Report software quality metrics aligned with business and regulatory objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or equivalent vocational education.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.
- Preferred ISTQB certification.
- Experience with design quality management, data analysis and interpretation, Design for Quality, root cause analysis, CAPA methodologies, regulatory requirements, privacy, safety and security risk assessment, technical documentation, continuous improvement, product quality and reliability, defect management, design verification planning, design validation planning, and product test design.
