Base Salary
$174k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical execution of large, cross-team initiatives related to authentication and access.
- Architect, refactor, and improve identity and access systems for various users.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape the team's roadmap.
- Serve as a resource for engineers on architectural decisions and best practices.
- Develop and promote best practices to enhance platform security and maintainability.
- Document processes and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Foster a culture of feedback and professional growth within the team.
- Create an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of relevant professional experience leading complex technical initiatives.
- Experience designing maintainable solutions to complex problems.
- Strong understanding of performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Ability to serve as a technical consultant for architecture and system design.
- Effective communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with product and design teams on requirements.
- A growth mindset and curiosity for continuous learning.
- Familiarity with Ruby and TypeScript, with a willingness to learn.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Git/GitHub, and Docker is a plus.
