Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure used by development teams to own and operate their services.
- Build and maintain features for an internal developer infrastructure platform.
- Develop standardized systems for CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes optimization, environment bootstrapping, and cloud cost optimization.
- Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric platform solutions.
- Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows to improve developer productivity.
- Guide team members, promote engineering standards, and improve platform usability and maintainability.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and write proposals and decision briefs for platform policies and functionality.
- Resolve unclear but urgent technical tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in several of ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, or cloud cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, preferably GCP or alternatively AWS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to align technology with user and organizational needs.
- Experience with distributed systems architecture and design, cloud security and governance principles, agentic workflows, databases, or Internal Developer Platforms is preferred.
