Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.
- Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.
- Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity.
- Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for efficient platform delivery.
- Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies and platform functionality.
- Create new features for the platform with a meaningful value proposition.
- Resolve unclear but urgent tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in tools like ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, and Backstage.
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies, preferably GCP.
- Excellent communication skills aligning technology with user needs.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.
- Curiosity and interest in learning new things.
