Responsibilities
- Build and tune cloud infrastructure in a DevOps team.
- Create and maintain automated deployment pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and architects on pipelines, environments, releases, and quality gates.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues, remove blockers, and support production releases and deployments.
- Provide centralized monitoring, logging, reporting, and alerting tooling.
- Measure pipeline performance and use data to prioritize continuous improvement.
- Support on-call duties, infrastructure issues, automation projects, and serverless technologies such as Oracle Functions.
- Create runbooks, procedures, and technical reports for colleagues and teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience provisioning and deploying cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including services such as OKE, OCI Database, OCI Load Balancing, OCI Compute, OCI Object Storage, OCI Edge Services/CDN, and OCI DNS.
- Strong Kubernetes knowledge.
- Experience with Ansible and Packer for configuration management.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining GitLab CI or similar CI/CD processes for cloud-deployed applications.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with the OCI Provider or OCI Resource Manager.
- Familiarity with OCI Logging & Monitoring, DataDog, DynaTrace, NewRelic, Prometheus, or the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Good documentation and communication skills using Confluence.
- Desirable experience supporting and automating CDN tools such as OCI CDN, Akamai, and CloudFront.
- A software development background is desirable.
- Desirable experience includes building large OCI infrastructure from scratch, supporting large-scale real-time applications, deploying complex cloud systems, and working with advanced CDN and monitoring solutions.
