Responsibilities
- Build and tune cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and architects to improve pipelines, release flows, quality gates, environments, and versioning.
- Provide centralized monitoring, logging, reporting, and alerting tools for development teams.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues, remove blockers, and support production releases and deployments.
- Measure pipeline performance and use data to prioritize continuous improvements.
- Support on-call duties, environments, and production issues involving the DevOps technology stack.
- Automate infrastructure and serverless projects, including work with Oracle Functions.
- Create runbooks, procedures, and technical reports for colleagues and teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience provisioning and deploying cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including OKE, OCI Database, OCI Load Balancing, OCI Compute, OCI Object Storage, OCI Edge Services/CDN, and OCI DNS.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Ansible, Packer, GitLab CI or similar CI/CD tools, Terraform with the OCI Provider, or OCI Resource Manager.
- Familiarity with OCI Logging & Monitoring, DataDog, DynaTrace, NewRelic, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency and strong documentation and communication skills using Confluence.
- Experience supporting and automating CDN tools such as OCI CDN, Akamai, or CloudFront is preferred.
- Software development experience, large-scale real-time application experience, and experience building complex cloud systems are desirable.
