Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and continuously improve OpenShift-based platform infrastructure for stability, performance, and availability.
- Manage GitOps deployments through ArgoCD and support the CI/CD ecosystem, including Bitbucket, Nexus, and Harbor.
- Investigate complex platform, networking, and application issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring incidents.
- Support HashiCorp Vault, container platforms, and infrastructure automation using PowerShell.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and database teams to deliver reliable and scalable platform services.
- Communicate with customer stakeholders and internal teams in German and English.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decision-making, and validate outputs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and GitOps.
- Experience with Bitbucket, HashiCorp Vault, Harbor or Nexus, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of Linux, networking including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performing root cause analysis.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Fluent German and English communication skills.
- Ability to structure effective AI prompts, critically validate AI outputs, understand limitations, and take ownership of final results.
- Nice-to-have experience with Keycloak, Automic, Helm, banking or enterprise environments, and Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Elastic.
