Base Salary
$89k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, deploy, and support software across the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, feature estimation, and product delivery.
- Develop unit and system tests while following secure coding practices.
- Use logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and monitoring tools to assess system health and diagnose production issues.
- Use AI agents and coding assistants effectively, experiment with prompt engineering, and share successful practices with the team.
- Participate in code reviews, document best practices, communicate status and risks, and drive assigned work to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and two years of experience in a related field, or an alternative combination such as a master’s degree with up to two years of experience or 14 years of related experience.
- Effective experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor across the software development lifecycle.
- Working proficiency across supported application layers, with depth in at least one layer, including technologies such as Java/Spring Boot, React, and SQL or relational data modeling.
- Experience with Git workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices.
- Working knowledge of logging, metrics, monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts such as New Relic.
- Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex issues with limited guidance and communicate technical tradeoffs and status clearly.
- Spec Driven Development experience is a plus.
