Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain application components, documentation, user stories, and reusable software building blocks.
  • Create projects from scratch, implement acceptance criteria, debug code, and participate in code reviews and testing.
  • Analyze and optimize inefficient code, diagnose performance issues, and refactor code for readability and speed.
  • Diagnose and reproduce production defects, coordinate corrections with business units, and determine hotfix or release strategies with product teams.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, designers, system owners, product teams, scrum teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Learn new technologies and investigate solutions to application development and design problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Requires 2–4 years of software engineering experience.
  • Requires moderate proficiency with several listed technologies, including C# or another object-oriented language, JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, web services, .NET Core MVC, Windows/Worker services, DevOps, SQL, Pega, and NoSQL databases.
  • Requires knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts, database design, file management, relational databases, and Agile concepts.
  • Requires strong communication, research, collaboration, customer-service, listening, interpersonal, detail-oriented, self-directed, and problem-solving skills.
