Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and support application components, web pages, websites, and back-end integrations.
- Review application effectiveness and efficiency and develop strategies for system improvement and legacy modernization.
- Analyze and prioritize front-end backlog tasks for applications under development.
- Lead technical efforts, code reviews, mentoring, and collaboration with developers, analysts, designers, architects, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Design architecture for smaller projects and assist software architects with robust and scalable solutions for larger projects.
- Research and recommend software products and services for procurement and development efforts.
- Document and demonstrate solutions using flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, code comments, and clear code.
- Collaborate with product and scrum teams to ensure requirements are met and work progresses satisfactorily.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- 5–7 years of software engineering experience required.
- Extensive proficiency with C#, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, Angular, and Vue.js; AWS, Azure, or GCP; RESTful or SOAP web services; .NET Core MVC; Windows and Worker services; DevOps including CI/CD; SQL; Pega; and NoSQL databases.
- Extensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile concepts, database design, file management techniques, and reusable software development practices.
- Ability to create flow diagrams, investigate development and design issues, research products, communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong customer-service orientation, written and oral communication, listening, interpersonal, attention-to-detail, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
