Responsibilities

Design, build, implement, and support applications, web pages, websites, and backend integrations.
Review existing application effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement or modernization.
Lead code reviews and mentor less experienced software engineers.
Design software architecture for smaller projects and support architecture work on larger projects.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, designers, product teams, scrum teams, architects, stakeholders, and end users.
Analyze and prioritize front-end backlog tasks and help ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Research and recommend software products and services for procurement and development.
Create technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and reusable software components.

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred.
5–7 years of software engineering experience required.
Extensive proficiency with C# or another object-oriented language, JavaScript frameworks, cloud services, web services, .NET Core MVC, Windows or Worker services, SQL, DevOps practices, Pega, and NoSQL databases.
Experience with React, Node.js, Angular, or Vue.js and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Extensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile concepts.
Expert knowledge of database design and file management techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, mentor developers, communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, conduct research, and maintain strong attention to detail.
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and end users to understand requirements.
