Base Salary
$106k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers to address technical challenges and build third-party integration technologies.
- Manage the end-to-end development of software products and resolve system-level issues.
- Document and lead the implementation of technical features, improvements, and innovations.
- Improve software performance, quality, and efficiency through proactive engineering.
- Design scalable APIs and build AWS cloud-native components.
- Translate client requirements into technical designs and explain technical decisions to non-engineers.
Requirements
- At least five years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in software engineering languages and tools including Java and RESTful services; the role also references JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Spring Boot, XML transformation, service orchestration, and AWS.
- Experience with full-stack development, AWS cloud-native components, and scalable API design.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Background in business operations and strategies with a focus on business IT.
- Experience translating client requirements into technical designs and understanding system architecture, technical standards, and layered solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, prioritization, and decision-explanation skills.
- Working knowledge of ACORD standards is highly desirable.
- Experience with C#/.NET is highly desirable.
- Ability to use and critically evaluate AI tools responsibly while protecting confidential and customer data.
