Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support robust and scalable industrial software capabilities.
- Own features from technical analysis and design through implementation, automated testing, documentation, and production support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, and developers to refine requirements and manage dependencies and trade-offs.
- Participate in SAFe planning, refinement, demonstrations, and continuous-improvement events.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and improve reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Apply peer reviews, clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure-design practices.
- Mentor developers, share technical and product knowledge, and contribute to consistent engineering patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise or industrial software.
- Strong experience with C#/.NET or comparable object-oriented technologies, APIs, and relational databases.
- Ability to design maintainable solutions, diagnose complex defects, and deliver high-quality production code.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, version control, and continuous integration practices.
- Ability to translate product requirements and customer workflows into technical designs and incremental deliverables.
- Experience collaborating across Product, Development, Quality Engineering, and Architecture roles.
- Strong English communication, facilitation, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience includes cloud-native architecture, REST APIs, microservices, containers, telemetry, modern front-end frameworks, scaled Agile frameworks, manufacturing or supply chain workflows, mathematical modeling, optimization, and mentoring engineers.
