Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure platforms and solutions for applications and data systems.
- Develop and manage CI/CD tooling, deployment pipelines, automation, and infrastructure processes.
- Monitor infrastructure and system performance, identify vulnerabilities and outages, and resolve incidents to reduce mean time to resolution.
- Implement secure configurations and controls to protect hardware, software, and data from cyber-attacks and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define infrastructure requirements and integrate solutions with business objectives.
- Analyze application performance metrics and support incident and problem management focused on uptime optimization.
- Contribute to technology communities, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Guide team members, coordinate resources, and support professional development where leadership responsibilities apply.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer supporting large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling including Gradle, Maven, Docker, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift container platforms.
- Advanced scripting or programming capability with PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET.
- Strong understanding of Git, GitLab, and build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant, and NPM.
- Working knowledge of SonarQube and Veracode for code quality and security.
- Experience integrating third-party or vendor platforms and managing secure external connectivity.
- Experience with Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, and ServiceNow.
- Strong incident and problem management capabilities with a focus on rapid issue resolution and uptime optimization.
- Experience analyzing application performance metrics using ELK Stack and AppDynamics.
- Ability to manage risk and controls, advise stakeholders, communicate complex information, and apply technical experience to resolve problems.
- Understanding of relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and codes of conduct.
