Responsibilities
- Manage and improve existing cloud infrastructure.
- Help build the next generation of the platform.
- Streamline and automate deployment processes.
- Work with the Security team to address potential threats and patches.
- Provide tools and guidance to engineering and product teams to improve scalability, stability, and reliability.
- Share knowledge and experience to support the growth of the engineering team.
Requirements
- Production experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Git.
- Experience supporting production applications in the cloud.
- Experience with monitoring tools, frameworks, and processes.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Programming experience with Python.
- Understanding of networking and security concepts and methodologies.
- Linux systems administration experience.
- Scripting experience with Python or Bash is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of GitLab CI, Ansible, and Packer is advantageous.
- Splunk operational knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong interest or experience with containerization and automation is advantageous.
