Responsibilities
- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to design software for operational efficiency.
- Design and implement software modules for products and systems.
- Code large features, perform unit testing, debug issues, and support software integration.
- Conduct code reviews and regression testing, and triage and fix software issues.
- Collaborate with project team members to achieve project objectives.
- Write technical documentation for software projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree and 1+ year of relevant experience; or a PhD in a related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred: 4+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of database management software experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of API experience.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or a source-code-management system.
