Software Engineer - Android framework

- Analyze requirements and develop multiple modules and components for the Android Automotive System.
- Own multiple Android Automotive components from requirements through realization and software integration delivery.
- Implement test strategies, conduct pre-integration testing and verification, and document results.
- Maintain requirements traceability, consistency, and feature maturity.
- Triage and resolve defects and coordinate dependency resolution with other technical domains.
- Collaborate in an agile cross-functional team and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
- Approximately 3–5 years of overall professional experience.
- Expert knowledge of the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and related build system.
- Good understanding of Android Automotive System and Car Framework.
- Strong understanding of Android Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and Treble Architecture.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on knowledge of software development and testing lifecycle practices.
