Responsibilities
- Coordinate the integration, validation, and debugging of system software across server architecture domains including SoC firmware, BIOS, and BMC.
- Create validation plans, develop test content, automate test execution, and debug or triage failures.
- Develop and improve validation environments, test coverage, release automation, and firmware testing efficiency.
- Serve as a point of contact for platform-level issues and ensure systematic closure of issues across releases.
- Collaborate with architects, firmware and component development teams, and program management on daily operations and roadmap improvements.
- Perform system-level debugging, including investigation and triage of production and customer issues.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in embedded systems design/development, integration, validation, or system-level debugging.
- Programming experience in Python, C, or C++.
- Demonstrated experience with system integration, validation infrastructure, automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, and debugging of system software.
- Experience creating validation test plans, developing test content, and automating test execution.
- Experience working with automated integration and validation testing pipelines.
- Experience developing or testing firmware across FPGA, emulation, and simulation environments.
- Knowledge of hardware debugging tools including JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, troubleshooting, and production-issue triage skills; server-space experience is a plus.
