Base Salary
$165k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with OpenAPI specs and auto-generated client SDKs using SQLAlchemy and Postgres.
- Develop ingestion pipelines using Celery and Redis to extract structured engineering artifacts from unstructured inputs.
- Build and extend agentic AI workflows using LangChain and related frameworks for data extraction and team coordination.
- Integrate LLM APIs with streaming, error handling, and cost optimization.
- Deploy and operate services on GCP with Terraform.
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production backend systems, with 3+ years in Python.
- Proficiency using AI coding tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude.
- Strong experience with FastAPI or similar async Python web frameworks.
- Production experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with task queues and background processing (Celery, Redis).
- Understanding of API design and service architecture.
