Responsibilities
- Develop features for embedded platforms including cameras, access control, alarms, and sensors in a Linux embedded environment.
- Debug issues, solve problems, and conduct code reviews.
- Define architecture and design new features and functionalities.
- Participate in projects from inception through deployment and customer support.
- Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
- Research technologies for potential new products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, mechanical/electrical, server, UI, design, and operations teams.
Requirements
- At least five years of Linux embedded development experience.
- At least five years of C or C++ programming experience.
- Experience with Python or another scripting language.
- Experience with Git.
- Bash scripting, Go programming, Yocto, Linux kernel modules, secure boot/security, U-Boot or other bootloaders, TCP/IP, electrical circuits and lab equipment, and RTOS experience are preferred.
