Responsibilities
- Research client needs, assess options, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions.
- Develop high-quality, performant frontend code for banking cash-transaction applications.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead refactoring efforts in existing programs.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients.
- Provide technical consultancy to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and performance-test applications across different components.
- Mentor colleagues with lower seniority and help grow team knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of web application development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript and technologies such as Angular, RxJS, and Angular Material.
- Strong SCSS, CSS, and HTML skills and knowledge of frontend best practices.
- Fluent English and German communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance-testing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions across application components.
- Understanding of client-server communication, protocols, and REST principles.
- Experience working in cross-functional agile teams and with version control and Atlassian tools.
- Hands-on experience with pair programming, TDD, DDD, and simple design practices.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly, validate their outputs critically, understand their limitations, and take ownership of results.
- Preferred knowledge of Node.js, Docker, application lifecycle and CI/CD practices, security, and UI/UX.
- Willingness and experience to develop colleagues with lower seniority and foster collaboration.
