Responsibilities
- Build complex, responsive interfaces using the project’s frontend framework.
- Design component structures, state management, and API integrations.
- Write clean, testable code with unit and end-to-end tests and review peer code.
- Optimize loading performance and rendering behavior.
- Implement accessibility and security protections, including WCAG-aligned practices and XSS prevention.
- Ensure consistent behavior across browsers and devices.
- Translate UX designs into working interfaces and align with backend teams on API contracts.
- Mentor junior developers and share frontend best practices.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decisions, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS using PandaCSS.
- Experience building and maintaining component libraries and design systems with Storybook.
- Experience with Playwright and Jest for testing.
- Knowledge of WCAG-aligned accessibility implementation and testing.
- Experience with monorepo development, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Google Cloud, Contentful, and Optimizely.
- Strong communication skills, proactive collaboration, autonomy, and ownership of tasks and decisions.
- Ability to structure effective AI prompts, validate AI outputs critically, understand limitations, and remain accountable for final results.
