Responsibilities
- Build complex, responsive user interfaces in the project’s frontend framework.
- Develop component structures, state management, API integrations, and shared design-system components.
- Write clean, testable code with unit and end-to-end tests and participate in peer code reviews.
- Optimize loading performance and rendering across browsers and devices.
- Implement accessibility and security measures, including WCAG-aligned experiences and protection against XSS risks.
- Translate UX designs into working interfaces and align API contracts with backend teams.
- Use Storybook, Playwright, Jest, GitHub, Google Cloud, Contentful, and Optimizely in the development workflow.
- Mentor junior developers and share frontend engineering best practices.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decisions, and deliver quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS using PandaCSS.
- Experience building components and design systems with Storybook and shared frontend components.
- Experience with Playwright and Jest testing.
- Experience implementing and testing accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG.
- Experience working with monorepos, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Google Cloud, Contentful, and Optimizely.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to discussions.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of tasks and decisions, and work independently.
- Ability to structure effective AI prompts, critically validate AI outputs, understand their limitations, and own the final result.
