Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Kotlin backend microservices using Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Configure Azure API Management gateway policies using C# and XML for routing, validation, security, and performance.
- Containerize and deploy applications to Azure Kubernetes Service using Helm charts.
- Maintain Terraform infrastructure for Azure resources including Redis, Key Vault, and networking components.
- Manage GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines deployment workflows.
- Write Python scripts and operational runbooks to automate routine support tasks.
- Implement Redis caching and OAuth2/JWT authorization across API endpoints.
- Identify and resolve issues across multiple components of critical business systems.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong Kotlin proficiency in the JVM ecosystem, with Spring Boot or Quarkus experience.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Helm experience.
- Experience managing Terraform infrastructure for Azure resources.
- Direct Azure API Management experience, including C#/XML gateway policies and routing configuration.
- Understanding of API gateway patterns, rate limiting, authentication, routing, and OAuth2/JWT authorization.
- Experience building commercial B2B APIs.
- Python proficiency and experience with GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines are preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Redis, Go, Rust, TypeScript, React, or Scala is preferred.
