Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and derive software design, performance, and integration requirements.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain complex software systems and algorithms.
- Develop AI workflow automation scripts and customize core IT applications.
- Construct Dev/test pipelines and assist with executing software component test procedures.
- Integrate software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
- Design and implement database queries, repository interfaces, and system integrations.
- Optimize performance for systems handling more than 1 million requests per day.
- Implement monitoring and coordinate software installation to ensure operational specifications are met.
- Review software and system documentation, resolve problem reports, and improve development standards.
- Provide software input for system design, hardware/software trade-offs, and requirements analysis.
- Perform quality control and potentially oversee software development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, with four years of additional relevant software engineering experience permitted as a substitution.
- At least four years of IT application systems experience in technology solutions delivery.
- At least two years of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Desired experience with Python or scripting, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitLab, Code Pipeline, AWS, API integration, and algorithm development.
- Ability to analyze requirements, develop software, implement algorithms, design database interfaces, test software, and resolve defects.
