Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java and Spring Boot software components.
- Build and integrate microservices using REST, JSON/XML, and Kafka.
- Optimize PostgreSQL queries and support high-volume data processing for efficiency and stability.
- Debug issues across application, database, and integration layers.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-based environments.
- Support testing, validation, execution, technical documentation, and delivery activities.
- Collaborate with Agile and DevOps teams and contribute to sprint delivery and quality goals.
- Support and guide less experienced developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a hands-on software developer.
- Strong practical experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL tuning, and Kafka.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts and large-volume data processing.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps ways of working.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Groovy experience is a plus.
- Python or shell scripting skills are a plus.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and Amazon Kiro is good to have.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a delivery-focused mindset.
- Academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
