Base Salary
$104k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Investigate detected threats and use security products to analyze, contain, and remediate threats in customer environments.
- Provide customers with detailed reports describing actions taken, environment cleanup, and protection strategies.
- Identify and implement response strategies that improve the security posture of the customer base.
- Collaborate with Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, Intelligence, and Product teams on timely threat remediation methods.
- Prioritize and execute operational tasks in a fast-paced environment while participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Direct experience responding to security events and threats with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with endpoint detection and response products such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or CarbonBlack.
- Familiarity with identity security technologies and foundational understanding of Windows and macOS system functionality.
- Demonstrated curiosity and practical use of AI tools to improve workflows and problem-solving.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time and participate in a recurring monthly on-call rotation.
- Preferred experience with security operations, enterprise technology, network controls, or network protocols.
- Preferred experience using AI-augmented development platforms for security automation and engineering AI-based operational solutions.
- Deep interest in current adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is preferred.
