Responsibilities
- Administer Snowflake, including access management, role and privilege administration, operational support, and Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code governance.
- Maintain Snowflake-related CI/CD processes and GoCD pipelines while troubleshooting deployments, Terraform failures, and configuration drift.
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications, containerized workloads, and supporting technologies.
- Maintain Docker images, publish images to Amazon ECR, manage dependencies, and support adoption of secure hardened container images.
- Support audits, compliance activities, security assessments, technical evidence gathering, documentation, and control validation.
- Review infrastructure-as-code and platform pull requests for engineering, security, and operational best-practice adherence.
- Develop and maintain automation tools, operational utilities, and platform solutions using Python, Terraform, and related technologies.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for operational support and incident response.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, QA automation, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD platforms such as GoCD, GitHub Actions, Harness, or Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Basic expertise with Linux systems and command-line environments.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake administration, access management, role-based permissions, security principles, operational support, and SQL.
- Experience with Docker, containerized applications, Git-based workflows, code reviews, and automation using Python or Bash.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills across Engineering, Data, Security, Compliance, and other teams.
- Experience supporting 24/7 production on-call rotations and resolving incidents outside standard business hours.
- Preferred experience includes production Snowflake support, Rust, vulnerability management, audit and compliance evidence gathering, container security, hardened images, CIS benchmarks, secure software supply chains, GoCD pipelines, and regulated industries.
