Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead development of technical solutions for product and market expansions, regulatory needs, automated workflows, tooling, and data quality requirements.
- Write correct, stable, modular, and adaptable code with limited guidance and independently deliver projects.
- Contribute to code reviews and design reviews across the team.
- Design, scope, build, and document complex, scalable, and repeatable technical processes and capabilities.
- Represent the team in cross-functional projects and technical discussions.
- Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues, errors, escalations, and production problems through investigation.
- Partner with Business, Engineering, and Data organizations to operationalize health insurance operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and drive resolution of production issues across team boundaries.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- A technical bachelor’s degree or four or more years of commensurate experience.
- At least four years of experience in a technical role such as QA lead, data lead, systems lead, engineer, or QA engineer.
- At least three years of SQL experience.
- At least three years of Python experience.
- Preferred experience in coding, analytics, mathematics, finance, statistics, or data science.
- Preferred experience working in dynamic or startup environments and across technical project phases from early design through production operations.
- Preferred experience with coaching, mentorship, or project management.
Benefits
- Hybrid schedule based in Oscar’s New York City office with three in-office days per week, including Thursdays, and two flexible office days.
- Annual base pay of $135,792–$178,227 plus annual performance bonuses.
