Base Salary

$175k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve software used in quantitative research.
  • Contribute to research involving predictive signals, prediction algorithms, trade execution, portfolio construction, and risk management.
  • Use scalable software and parallel computing to train machine learning models and process large datasets.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, and senior team members.
  • Communicate research ideas clearly and succinctly.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in a quantitative or technical field such as statistics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science.
  • Have excellent programming skills in one or more of Python, C, C++, Java, SQL, or R.
  • Have familiarity with machine learning algorithms and software frameworks.
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Previous production software experience is a plus.
  • Previous financial industry experience is a plus but is not required.
