Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions in C++.
- Use Summit APIs and components to customize reports, develop blotter extensions, and implement STP.
- Understand Summit architecture and troubleshoot advanced technical scenarios.
- Gather and implement client requirements independently and effectively.
- Apply knowledge of investment banking, capital markets, OTC derivatives, and fixed-income products.
- Collaborate within State Street’s global technology organization to deliver creative technology solutions.
Requirements
- 15–18 years of overall experience, including substantial C++ and Summit API development experience.
- Strong practical expertise in both Summit and C++.
- Proficiency in investment banking and capital markets.
- Understanding of OTC derivatives and fixed-income products.
- Proficiency in Unix and shell scripting.
- Experience with databases, preferably Oracle.
- Proficiency in Git and Jira.
- Python programming and cloud exposure are desirable.
