Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business and user needs.
- Perform systems analysis, application development, model development, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, and business and system process evaluations.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and support successful system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and assist with system deployment and exposure.
- Define and follow operating standards and processes while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and advisor or coach to senior stakeholders and lower-level analysts.
- Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment and autonomy.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Proficiency with Python, PySpark, and PyFlink.
- Experience with Apache Iceberg, Hive, Apache Airflow, Tableau, Apache Superset, Apache Spark, Databricks, Apache Flink, Apache Trino, Starburst, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
