Responsibilities
- Define test strategies, coverage, priorities, estimates, and plans for functional and non-functional testing.
- Design and document test cases and scenarios using Gherkin syntax and BDD practices.
- Implement, maintain, and optimize automated suites for functional, integration, regression, web, backend, desktop, and API testing.
- Execute functional, non-functional, security, performance, load, integration, and post-production validation tests.
- Manage test cases, test repositories, test data, defects, risks, impediments, and dependencies through resolution.
- Monitor execution results and delivery quality, and promote continuous testing and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- More than four years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, Testing, or Software Testing.
- Experience with ISTQB standards, advanced testing techniques, test strategy design, BDD, and Gherkin.
- Experience automating backend, web, desktop, API, mobile, functional, and integration tests.
- Experience with Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, Appium, Cucumber, Java, JavaScript, Jira, Xray, Postman, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of continuous testing and performance testing frameworks, test data administration, test scenario and repository management, and defect management.
- Desirable experience with DevSecOps testing practices, configuration management, branching strategies, mobile functional and non-functional testing, performance and security testing, automation design patterns, Dynatrace, MongoDB, OWASP, and security applied to the testing lifecycle.
