Responsibilities
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, test strategies, test coverage, and automation approaches.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan functional and non-functional testing activities.
- Design and document test cases and scenarios using Gherkin syntax and BDD practices.
- Implement and maintain automated suites for functional, integration, regression, backend, web, desktop, API, mobile, performance, and security testing.
- Manage and optimize manual and automated test cases, test repositories, test data, and defect records.
- Execute tests in development and certification environments and perform post-production validation and confirmation testing.
- Monitor execution results and delivery quality while identifying testing risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Promote Continuous Testing and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, QA Automation, or Software Testing.
- Experience applying ISTQB standards, advanced testing techniques, and test strategy design.
- Experience with BDD, Gherkin scenarios, backend and web test automation, and functional and integration testing.
- Experience using Selenium, Rest Assured, Karate DSL, Serenity, Appium, Cucumber, Java, JavaScript, Jira, Xray, Postman, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of Continuous Testing and Performance Testing frameworks, test data administration, and test scenario and repository management.
- Preferred experience with DevSecOps testing practices, configuration management, branching strategies, mobile testing, performance and load testing, security testing, test automation design patterns, Dynatrace, MongoDB, OWASP, and applied security across the testing lifecycle.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, proactivity, adaptability, results orientation, and autonomy.
