Responsibilities

Build and maintain the React and Tailwind design system.
Own frontend performance in Next.js 16, including rendering strategy, bundle size, and user experience on slow connections.
Treat accessibility as a default requirement throughout development.
Develop the Node.js layer using Express.js or Nest.js between the UI and backend services, using Redis for caching where appropriate.
Write clean code and automated unit, component, and end-to-end tests.
Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and lasting technical decisions.
Direct, review, and improve coding-agent output using Claude Code.
Collaborate with software architects, product owners, and fellow developers in an agile team.

Several years of production frontend development experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS and client-side state management with Zustand.
Experience with unit and component testing using Vitest and end-to-end testing using Playwright.
Comfort with Node.js, Express.js or Nest.js, and APIs from a microservices backend.
Ability to communicate clearly and work comfortably in English.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred but not required.

Fully remote work with no relocation required.
