Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and systems for AI applications
- Develop systems for large-scale data acquisition and multimodal data processing
- Improve storage and computation efficiency
- Build infrastructure for AI model evaluation and productionization
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to address computational and data needs
- Track industry trends in data infrastructure and advocate for best practices and continuous improvement
- Assist with cloud resource budgeting and infrastructure expense management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience managing infrastructure for large-scale AI or machine learning projects
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience optimizing computational workflows
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with GPU computing preferred
- Experience with distributed data processing systems preferred
- Experience building large-scale batch inference systems preferred
- Prior startup or fast-paced technology company experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
