Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build recommendation, ranking, and retrieval systems for candidate-role matching.
- Develop LLM-powered features and improve matching quality using measurable outcomes.
- Take product features from problem definition through production and ship at a rapid cadence.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and backend services supporting production models.
- Work with company leadership to translate product goals into working systems.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience building and shipping end-to-end software features in production.
- Production experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or ML-powered matching.
- Experience shipping ML models or ML-powered products to users, with hands-on experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent frameworks.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and experience building production features with LLM APIs.
- Experience maintaining production data pipelines and services, ideally in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- React, embeddings, vector search, Supabase, Prisma, Typesense, or workflow automation tools are helpful.
