Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate integrations between SAP S/4HANA or BTP and downstream systems.
- Develop ABAP, SAP HANA SQL, CDS views, APIs, OData services, SOAP web services, and RFC-based interfaces.
- Build and operate AWS services and infrastructure using Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/Fargate, ECR, and CDK.
- Create MCP servers, Bedrock agents, and Claude-powered workflows that automate finance operations.
- Build data pipelines moving financial data between SAP, Redshift, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Own deployment, monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement for production systems.
- Improve team engineering practices through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on SAP development experience with ABAP, HANA SQL, CDS views, BTP, or SAP integration technologies.
- At least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience deploying and operating production workloads.
- Experience building file-based and API-based integrations using REST, OData, and SOAP.
- Experience with S/4HANA top-down development, CDS views, and AMDP classes.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java in addition to ABAP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Bedrock in engineering workflows.
- Experience testing and debugging APIs with Bruno or Postman.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 authorization flows and OpenID Connect.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Finance domain knowledge, including FI/CO, FI/CA, AP, AR, or GL.
- Preferred experience includes production AI automations, MCP servers, Bedrock agents, LangGraph, Fiori applications with RAP, and S/4HANA embedded analytics.
