Base Salary

$175k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy features for offboard weather systems and infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain scalable pipelines for weather-data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Contribute to real-time and forecasting weather applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering partners to deliver reliable software.
  • Maintain performance, code health, and stability for systems supporting safe fleet operations.
  • Participate in code reviews and system design discussions and write technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience programming in backend coding languages.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional partners.
  • Preferred: experience with C++.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Google infrastructure including Flume, Borg, Protocol Buffers, or OnePlatform.
  • Preferred: experience with payments, billing, or fintech systems where correctness is critical.
