Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices across GCP and other cloud or hybrid environments.
- Design, secure, and operate scalable GCP network architectures using Shared VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
- Design and manage Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Build and manage Kubernetes and serverless container platforms, including GKE and Cloud Run.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Create automation, API integrations, and custom tooling with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Implement logging, metrics, alerting, and other observability capabilities.
- Manage GCP identity, access management, service accounts, workload identity, and governance.
- Administer Windows and Linux cloud virtual machines, including networking, storage, backups, monitoring, access control, and troubleshooting.
- Design and manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
- Handle incident management and conduct root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver highly available, cost-optimized, and compliant systems.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Strong production experience with GCP and exposure to AWS; Azure or experience across other cloud and hybrid environments is a plus.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and managing Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong experience designing and securing GCP network architectures and using GKE in production.
- Experience with Cloud Run, CI/CD pipelines, observability, serverless and event-driven architectures, and cloud governance.
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with GCP IAM and Admin, service accounts, workload identity, and cloud virtual machine administration.
- Experience designing and managing databases, with knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis experience.
- Certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, or Kubernetes are preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
