Responsibilities
- Act as the global subject-matter expert for Stripe Radar and accelerate complex customer opportunities.
- Partner with sales, pre-sales, and product teams to drive pipeline, revenue, customer strategy, and product-roadmap influence.
- Develop and communicate expertise in fraud trends, risk architectures, rule management, machine-learning tuning, manual review, and risk or identity integrations.
- Lead customer workshops, key opportunities, technical discussions, and relationships with senior customer business leaders.
- Create reference architectures, reusable assets, training, and best practices for the broader go-to-market organization.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by providing product feedback, competitive insights, and emerging fraud-vector analysis.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Stripe engineering and help resolve product and technical questions.
- Support executive briefings, conferences, user groups, trade shows, and other marketing events.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, product, or risk strategy focused on e-commerce fraud prevention, risk management, or trust and safety.
- Deep knowledge of fraud and risk domains including payment fraud, account takeover, first-party misuse, and policy or content abuse.
- Knowledge of risk-management architectures, rules engines, machine-learning models, manual review queues, and fraud-detection signals.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and architecture patterns and how diverse technologies and systems interact.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to solve open-ended business problems, build collaborative relationships, and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications is preferred.
- Experience with processor-agnostic fraud solutions, multi-processor payments, risk management across platforms or marketplaces, subscriptions, and digital goods or SaaS is preferred.
- Familiarity with liability-shift programs, value-based pricing, and extending fraud protection to payouts, physical payments, or recurring billing is preferred.
- Relevant subject-matter expertise in an industry, vertical, or product is preferred.
