Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and support SAP CPI and BTP Integration Suite implementations and migration projects.
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B scenarios using synchronous and asynchronous interfaces.
- Analyze CPI job traces, error logs, and monitoring logs, and develop solutions from business and technical requirements.
- Create custom Groovy or JavaScript scripts, mappings, and integration flows.
- Configure IDOC, SFTP, SOAP, REST, OData, HTTP/S, Mail, JDBC, FTP, and SuccessFactors adapters.
- Build SAP CPI/PI assets and accelerators to reduce cost to serve.
- Mentor junior CPI team members and work with delivery, sales, and alliance teams on technical growth and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage customer expectations and work independently in challenging client environments.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with SAP PI/PO, including 3+ years with SAP CPI.
- At least three end-to-end SAP implementation and migration projects, excluding rollouts.
- Expertise integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP CPI, including synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- In-depth knowledge of CPI pallet functions and mapping objects.
- Experience integrating SuccessFactors, Salesforce, C4C, Hybris, Ariba, and other third-party products.
- Experience with Groovy or JavaScript for custom scripts; XSLT experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite capabilities including API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, TPM, and Integration Advisor is preferred.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or SAP CPI-DS is an advantage.
- SAP Cloud Platform Integration certification is preferred.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, CPEA, CPI, and subaccount provisioning is preferred.
- Sound understanding of at least one end-to-end business process such as MM, PP, SD, or Supply Chain.
- Expertise in at least one industry such as Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemical, or Life Sciences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.
